Wanda M. Krajicek, City Clerk

Wanda Krajicek began her career with the City of Fort Collins, Colorado in January 1975, holding a half-time position in the City's Purchasing Department. She held positions as the Fort Collins Public Information Officer and Deputy City Clerk before assuming her present position as City Clerk in August 1980.

She received the Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) award in January 1983 after completing the three-year education program for professional clerks sponsored by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) and Colorado University at Boulder.

She was accepted into the IIMC Academy for Advanced Education (AAE) in 1984 and in 1996 received her Third Sustaining Membership in the Academy.

In January of 2000, Ms. Krajicek was awarded the designation of Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) in fulfillment of requirements prescribed by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and holds the distinction of being the first clerk in Colorado to be awarded the designation of Master Municipal Clerk.

Ms. Krajicek has served as a member of several IIMC Committees, including the Technology Development Committee and the Membership Committee and has served as a panelist, presenter and convener at IIMC Conferences.

She has held many positions with the Colorado Municipal Clerks Association including Public Relations Officer and Newsletter Editor and was President of the Association in 1987.
