Survey Results Are In!
Since April, the Project Team has collected and analyzed results from a household and a business survey sent out in April. The intent of the surveys was to collect information for an upcoming market report, and to better understand concern over issues raised in earlier Corridor Plan meetings. The results will enable the Project Team to focus its efforts on the issues most relevant to Plan participants. Download highlights of the surveys and the visioning workshop (held on April 24) in the box to the right.

The South College Corridor Plan kicked-off on November 29, 2007 with a public open house at the Southgate Church. This plan covers 608 acres centered along College Avenue between Harmony and Carpenter Roads. This entire area is within city limits, download the map above.
This plan will be similar to other corridor plans adopted by the City, such as the North College Corridor Plan and East Mulberry Corridor Plan (these plans can be downloaded from our Document Download webpage). Particular attention will be paid to the unique characteristics and issues of South College, with a focus on land use, transportation, urban design, building and zoning, infrastructure, and open space. An extensive 18-month public involvement process will be conducted, with activities ranging from public meetings, one-on-one meetings with property owners, businesses and residents, web updates, and newsletters.
