NEW! Fun and engaging programs for youth include:

  • Summer Garden Camp Seedling sessions full!
    For 5-10 year olds
    Beginning June 2 - $100 per weekly session
    Week long, half-day sessions featuring gardening, cooking art, nature journaling, yoga, science, outdoor games and more!
  • Read and Seed (PDF 80KB)
    For 4-5 year olds
    Tuesdays 10:30 to 11:15 am - $4.50 per session or $20.00 for five sessions
    Includes storytime and a fun and educational hands-on activity!
  • Garden Journeys (PDF 80KB)
    For ages 6-10 year olds
    Second and fourth Wednesdays of each month during the school year – 4 to 5 pm
    Weekly during summer vacation - 9 to 10 am
    $6.50 per session or $30.00 for five sessions
    Kids enjoy a healthy snack, art, science and all around plant fun!
  • City of Fort Collins Image Boy Scout Gardening Merit Badge

Advance registration required for all classes. Cash, checks, MC, Visa, and Discover are accepted. Walk-in or mail-in payment for classes should be returned to the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 S. Centre Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80526. Checks should be made payable to “The Gardens on Spring Creek.” For additional information about any of these educational opportunities, call (970) 416-2486

Adult Programs

Classes

A wide variety of subjects and programs are offered including free, monthly brown bag lunch programs, inspiring classes on horticulture, health and the arts and garden tours.

Our “Light and Lively” Brown Bag Lunch Series meets the first Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. in the classroom. No registration is required.

Classes on a variety of topics are now being offered at the Gardens.

Tours

Individuals and small groups are welcome to visit The Gardens at any time during our business hours. A volunteer or staff person will be happy to give you a brief introduction to our facility. Large groups wishing a more extensive tour are invited to call 416-2280 for more information and to schedule a tour date and time. Reservations must be made at least 10 days in advance. The Gardens on Spring Creek is located at 2145 Centre Avenue which is ½ mile south of the Hilton on west Prospect. Come visit our gardens (in progress), greenhouse and multi-use facility and learn about our future plans.
