Monday Outdoor Programs
Monday programs are for all ages and last approximately 45 minutes. In case of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled. Come to Main’s Library Park every Monday afternoon, or join us under the tent at Harmony Library on four Monday mornings.

Sign Language symbol Sign Language Interpreter will be present at Monday afternoon programs in Library Park.


Ladybug Lift-Off
The CSU Gillette Entomology Club will assist families who attend this drop-in program with live ladybug releases. Families may also visit stations to learn about other insects and participate in crafts and activities. All ages.

Indoor Puppet Show Pointers

  • Free tickets to the show will be given out, starting thirty minutes before each performance.
  • Fire code restrictions determine room capacity for indoor programs. Strollers cannot be accommodated.
  • Because morning puppet shows are the most crowded, come early and/or come to afternoon or evening shows to avoid disappointment.
  • Groups of more than six must make reservations to attend indoor puppet shows. Call 221-6680.
  • Puppet shows are aimed at ages 4-12, but all ages are welcome. If children of any age become disruptive, please remove them until they are ready to listen.

Animal Animal Afternoons Join Larimer Animal People Partnership volunteers and their critters at 3:00 on the first and fourth Sundays of the month. School-age children who have completed grades K-6 will enjoy friendly animals, good books, and opportunities to read to animals. (40-60 minutes)

If you have completed grade 5, 6, 7, or 8, and enjoy working in a busy place filled with younger kids, consider applying to become a Library Pal.

What do Library Pals do?
  • help with summer activities
  • cut out nametags
  • read books
  • help with library tasks
  • make new friends
  • and much, much more!
Pals volunteer for one weekly 2-hour time slot for 8 weeks (June 5 to July 28). Training session options are June 1 or 2.
