How to Register in 3 Easy Steps
- Come to Main or Harmony Library.
- Go to a children's computer to sign up.
- Go to the Children's Desk to complete your registration.
Registration available May 14-August 31.
Children from babies to outgoing sixth graders may register.
Events begin June 16.
How to earn prizes...
- Read or be read to for five hours.
- Keep track of your time in your Reading Record and answer at least two questions.
- Bring your Reading Record to Main or Harmony Library to receive your prize and enter the Grand Prize Drawing.
Keep reading after your second prize to help the African Rainforest Conservancy.
Group Participation
Daycare, camp, or summer school groups are welcome to participate in the Summer Reading Program. Teachers or daycare providers may sign up the children, help them fulfill reading requirements, and bring in completed Reading Records to pick up one prize. Parents help children earn the second prize by reading at home.
Unless otherwise specified, outdoor activities are open to all groups of children. Groups of more than six must make advance arrangements to attend all indoor programs. Call 221-6680 for information.
