Storytimes
|
|
Each week staff share their love of books and reinforce early literacy skills through stories, songs, and fingerplays in a small group setting.  Storytimes are wonderful opportunities for children to learn to enjoy books and group activities.
- All storytimes are free, open to the public, and no registration is required except for Mother Goose Time at Harmony.
- Storytimes start promptly on schedule. Allow extra time for parking and getting nametags.
- Please honor age limits for each storytime. (Exceptions: Younger siblings are welcome at 2 & 3 year old storytimes. Older children are welcome at any of the storytimes.)
- Please refrain from bringing food and beverage into storytime.
- If children in your care become disruptive, please remove them until they are comfortable and ready to listen.
- For information on how home daycare groups may attend storytimes, please call 221-6680.

Southeast Family Storytime is presented by the Fort Collins Regional Library District and generously funded by the Friends of the Library.

Mother Goose Time
|
Mother Goose Time is a special 15-minute program for infants through 24 months and their favorite grownups. Age-appropriate books, rhymes, and songs are shared. The program is scheduled in 4-week sessions. Please call for the current schedule and registration information. Harmony Library 204-8404 or Main Library 221-6680.

Animal Afternoon
|
 On the first Sunday of the month at the Main Library, or on the fourth Sunday of the month at the Harmony Library, join Amy Fristoe and volunteers from the Larimer Animal People Partnership (LAPP) at 3 p.m. You’ll find some great books selected for the habitat of the month, and meet friendly animals who love to listen to kids reading aloud. Animal Afternoon is 40 to 60 minutes long and is for school-aged children. For more information call 221-6680.
