Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites will be available from February 1 through April 14 for eligible residents to get their taxes filed for free and to see whether they are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit. VITA offers free tax help to people whose incomes are $38,000 or less and to people age 60 and older. Returns are completed by computer and e-filed.
