Management Plan Timeline

Summer 2006
  • Continue collection of archeological and biological baseline information (includes vegetation, bird and mammal surveys); compile information
  • 2nd meeting with Technical Advisory Group (TAG)
  • Design access road and related infrastructure
  • Public guided tours continue through opening in 2009

  • Refine draft plan with input from technical advisory group, Land Conservation and Stewardship Board, Larimer County Parks and Open Lands Board and Natural Areas Staff
  • 2nd Draft of plan
  • Begin road construction/improvements

  • Present 2nd Draft to LCSB (August 8, 2007)

  • 3rd Draft (Final)

  • Develop facilities as outlined in the management plan
  • Continue public tours (availability may depend on construction activity)
