Electrician and Plumber Registration

Electricians:

Any person who engages in the business of electrical contracting in the City of Fort Collins must register with the Building & Zoning Department. To do so, the following must be submitted:

• Completed Master Electrician/Master Plumber Application (PDF)
• Completed Master Electrician/Master Plumber Affidavit (PDF)
• Completed Immigration Affidavit (PDF)
• Copy of current Master Electrician License
• Copy of current Active State of Colorado Contractor's Card
• Copy of Picture ID
• Current certificate of general liability insurance

There is no fee associated with this registration. All necessary forms are included with this packet.

Plumbers:

Any person who engages in the business of plumbing contracting in the City of Fort Collins must register with the Building & Zoning Department. To do so, the following must be submitted:

• Completed Master Electrician/Master Plumber Application (PDF 44KB)
• Completed Master Electrician/Master Plumber Affidavit (PDF 8KB)
• Completed Immigration Affidavit (PDF 20KB)
• Copy of current Master Plumber License
• Copy of Picture ID
• Current certificate of general liability insurance
• $50.00 registration fee
