Senior Center Construction December 2024 thru March 2025
HVAC system upgrades will begin at the Fort Collins Senior Center on December 16. Construction is anticipated to be completed at the beginning of March 2025.
What to expect during construction:
- Access to Twinberry Auditorium, Indian Paintbrush Room (Art Room), Sumac Room (Wood Shop), Foxtail 1, and Foxtail 2 will be permitted through the north entrance.
- The Golden Rod Room (Billiards Room), Prairie Sage Rooms (1, 2, 3, and Stage), and the Kitchen will be closed for the duration of the project.

Fort Collins Senior Center#
The Fort Collins Senior Center is open to those 18 years and older and provides patrons an opportunity to access and engage in recreational opportunities, stay active, and socialize. The Senior Center's diverse program selection includes travel, outdoor adventure, special events, fitness, art, and more. The Senior Center is open to all adults but specialized in programming for adults 50 years of age and older.
NCOA's National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC) is a program with nine standards of excellence for senior center operations. These standards serve as a guide for all senior centers to improve their operations and position themselves for the future. The NCOA accredited the Fort Collins Senior Center in 2016.
Schedules:
Drop-in Pickleball:
Registrations for drop-in pickleball at the Fort Collins Senior Center are required for play. Registration opens at 7 a.m. on Thursdays for the following week, Monday-Sunday.

Front Range Forum is an educational and social membership organization associated with the Fort Collins Senior Center. Membership fee includes unlimited access to classes offered on a variety of subjects as well as activities that include film programs, lunchtime lectures, off-site excursions, monthly social luncheons, and special interest groups.
Fort Collins Senior Center Friends
Fort Collins Senior Center Friends is a private nonprofit 501c3 organization. The group supports and enhances the use and enjoyment of the Fort Collins Senior Center through public relations, socializing, fundraising, and advocacy. Meetings are four times per year. Older Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender+ (OGLBT+)
Join the social networking group for monthly get-togethers. Meetings occur to plan future events and activities. For more information contact Ashley Ruffer at aruffer@fcgov.com.

The Senior Advisory Board advises City Council on issues related to older adults and is comprised of individuals of all ages who share a concern for the aging members of the community. The board consists of nine members appointed by City Council. The Senior Advisory Board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. Guests are welcome.
