Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling#
Recycle and Save
While refrigerator and freezer efficiency has improved over the last 20 years, many old units are still in use, straining the power grid and your monthly utility bill. This program makes it easy to reduce energy use and be environmentally responsible.
The City partners with Efficiency Works, who can conveniently come to your eligible home or business to haul away your working refrigerator or freezer for free! They also offer free pick up of mini-fridges (less than 10 cubic feet) and window or room air conditioning units if you are also recycling a full-size refrigerator or freezer.
If you are a commercial customer and are in need of a bulk pick up, contact Efficiency Works at (970) 229-5650 or Information@EfficiencyWorks.org
