The Fort Collins City Council approved a reduction in the Vendors Fee in November 2007. The revised fee allows vendors to keep 1.0% of the first $4,500 in tax collected with a maximum fee of $45 per reporting period. The fee rate change is effective for taxes collected on or after January 1, 2008.

This class is designed to provide information on sales and use tax in the City of Fort Collins. It will be presented at a broad level allowing for specific questions to be addressed. Anyone currently engaged in business, or planning to be engaged in business, or anyone just wanting more information on sales and use tax are encouraged to attend. Sales Tax Return Assistance
Sales tax return assistance is offered through the City of Fort Collins Sales Tax Division each month. This service is intended to assist in filling out the sales and use tax return, so please provide documentation needed to complete the return. Space is limited and registration is required.
