Wastewater
Fort Collins Utilities cleans and treats wastewater, or sewage, to remove contaminants before returning water to the environment. The two water reclamation facilities use complex processes for treating wastewater. Before water is returned to waterways, the Pollution Control Laboratory ensures it meets or surpasses state and federal standards. |
