Natalie Selden Barnes’s inspiration comes from a life-long love of carousels. The design captures the simple pleasure of wind tousling a child’s hair, blinking eyes ablaze with reflection of color and bright lights, little ears ringing with melodic notes in tandem with the dance of animals dashing around them. Natalie hopes the notes of this piano recall that joy for many days and nights to come.
