Description

Artist Barry Quinton Lee worked with local youth to transform two utilitarian structures near the Northside Aztlan Community Center into vibrant works of art. The artist used cultural iconography to work with the name and spirit of the Northside Aztlan Center. A stucco pump house East of the Aztlan and a metal transformer cabinet off the Southwest corner of the building were painted with the assistance of youth who frequent the community center.
