Description

This mural shows Horsetooth Reservoir with an x-ray type cutout showing pipes running through the dam wall. Fort Collins is lucky to have 2 sources of fresh water, the Poudre River and Horsetooth Reservoir. Large pipes connect these water sources to the Laporte Water Treatment Facility where the sediment can be removed and the water can be purified so it is safe to drink.
