Dog Days showcases the amazing transformation of dog-day cicadas in the heat of the year. Every time that familiar buzz fills the summer air, I am transported to an evanescent mixture of all my summers of old and visions of summers to come. This mural is about that timeless magic these strange, habitual creatures bring to our world.
