Description

“Night Illuminations will show beautiful nocturnal insects such as the luna moth and fireflies as well as glowing celestial orbs such as the moon, stars, and comets. I want to achieve a feeling of the enchantment of the night and its magical moving inhabitants.  The moon will feature the folk tale hero Rabbit and the Moon. I am happy to interact with the public regarding my painting process or the subject matter such as the luna moths, fireflies or celestial bodies.  I could tell children about the Rabbit in the Moon folktale as well as about the Man in the Moon.
