Description

Radiant Park is the newest neighborhood park for the City of Fort Collins. It is located immediately west of Zach Elementary on the south side of Kechter Road. The park design is based on the four elements, earth, wind, fire and water, and how these elements are affected by light. The park includes a tot lot, teen adventure area, substantial new native plantings and stream mitigation, outdoor classrooms with access to McClelland Creek and a multi-purpose irrigated turf field. The art is incorporated throughout the site as the thematic paving for the 4 elements, unique shade shelters over the four element seatng areas and as medallions on the shelter/restroom wall that interpret the theme of the park and area a map to the outdoor classrooms.
