Description

This year’s transformer mural is inspired by my love of Red-winged Blackbirds. I have the opportunity to pass by a small pond and listen to them sing daily. I have always been captivated by this common bird and have revisited this subject in my paintings several times. I never tire of seeing the red flash of the males wings, or hearing their unique song as they alight on cattails.
