The five life-size bronze figures in front of the utilities building at 700 Wood street depict some of the various occupations of the people who work in the utilities department - a chemist, an engineer, an administrator, a field tech and a customer service representative. While the group of figures give an overall picture of the people who make up the Utility Department, the individual figures are independent and meant to give a sense of the work they do as well as to honor the individuals and their professions. Each figure took 3 months for casting and finishing.
