Chelsea Gilmore explores boundaries of the familiar, the natural, dreams, and memory. Through the transformation of light and shadow, she is compelled to seek moments of intimacy, beauty, and wonder. She takes the unassuming and creates the unexpected--emphasizing moments of curiosity, discovery and remembering.
This design represents patterns formed through light and shadow, presenting a layered experience of curiosity, exploration, and discovery. The colorful design will jump off of the piano surface, entrancing folks as they pass by and luring the musician in each of us to take a moment and explore a new realm of creative possibilities. The mural will offer a place to recreate memories and to feel a new sense of belonging in our community.
