The colors of this mural are inspired by the colors of the wildfire skies that sprawl across our state during the summer months. These skies are beautiful and haunting at the same time, signaling the constant threat of drought and climate change communicated through the beauty of the natural world. I will be painting this mural by brush with both acrylic and latex paint.
