Description

This mural is inspired by the Grimm fairy tale of four aging farm animals who, in their old age, are mistreated by their former owners despite years of loyal labor. The donkey, dog, cat, and rooster run away to become musicians in the liberated town of Bremen. While they never actually make it to Bremen, they find comfort and joy in their companionship and live out the rest of their days in peace. This artwork explores what their dream may have looked like while celebrating newfound happiness well into the golden years.
