Description

Nicole's design simulates the texture of a woven linen, visually comprising the widespread mountains of the Front Range and our very own Horsetooth Mountain.

Upon any guest's arrival to Fort Collins, this winding and beautiful drive around the Reservoir is the first place Nicole takes them. It’s a quickly recognizable landmark for locals and visitors alike, sparking conversation, usually paired with excitement of visually identifying the featured subject matter. With threads of silver, gold, and bronze, this design resembles a tapestry that, for Nicole, emulates the lightweight feeling of life in Fort Collins and what she thinks makes it one of the best places on earth to live.

Nicole Clemens grew up inspired by the environment, colors, and forms of West Texas life. Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in painting and drawing in 2013 from Angelo State University, San Angelo, TX, Nicole began the work of creating every day. The subject matter of Nicole’s art is focused on landscapes, particularly the mountains, vast skies, the human body, and the vibrant colors of the world around and within us. Residing in Fort Collins has allowed Nicole to experience new views and hues to capture in pigment.
