Description

The City's Stormwater Utility is conducting innovative water quality treatment tests at various locations in the city. Artist Andy Dufford has developed interpretive boxes to house the testing equipment. The sculptural art boxes provide protection to the water quality monitoring equipment, while still allowing personnel the ability to access this equipment. The art elements of the boxes illustrate the filtration process happening beneath city streets. The two boxes are located at the corner of Mountain Ave. and Walnut St.
