Duties
The Parks and Recreation Board acts as an advisory board. The Board advises and makes recommendations to Community Services and the City Council for their approval as to the rules, regulations, policies and administrative and budgetary matters pertaining to Parks and Recreation, including matters relating to the operation and maintenance of City-owned golf courses. The Board assists the City in cooperating with the Poudre School District and other organizations and individuals interested in the City's parks and recreation programs.
Recommended Qualifications
Having experience or an interest in the management, protection, conservation and preservation of Fort Collins' parks and recreational resources.
