The City strives to minimize impacts to sensitive species and their habitats by ensuring all activities and operations adhere to the City of Fort Collins Land Use Code.
Habitat Resources#
The City of Fort Collins assures landscaping for developments to adhere to the Fort Collins Land Use Code so that all associated social and environmental benefits are maximized. These benefits include protection of natural features, reduced erosion and stormwater runoff, improved water conservation, air pollution mitigation, reduced glare and heat build-up, increased aesthetics, and improved continuity within and between developments.
