An Online Gateway to Programs for Financially Insecure

Get FoCo is a single point of entry and a one-stop organizer for the City’s income-qualified programs. It is available in English, Spanish, and over 130 other languages via Google Translate.

Built-in partnership with Code for America, Get FoCo relies on the income verification of other known benefit programs such as Poudre School District Free & Reduced Lunch, SNAP, Medicaid, LEAP, and Affordable Connectivity Program.

With simple set-up, verification, and submission, the platform provides easy access to the City’s income-eligible programs, streamlining efforts for residents and creating efficiencies for City staff.

Community Awards to Non-Profits

Building a Network of Skills and Support

Fort Collins non-profits form the backbone of the City’s support services for vulnerable residents.

The Digital Inclusion Teams build partnerships and awards grants to community non-profits to support and expand Digital Inclusion programming through education, employment, healthcare, senior digital use, and technology access in public spaces. We work in partnership with trusted local organizations—libraries, school districts, community-based organizations, affordable housing properties, and Connexion—all dedicated to equitable access to and use of technology.

Reduced Rate Connexion Internet

As life has shifted online, the disparity between those who have access to high-speed, affordable internet and those who don’t—the digital divide—has become even more exaggerated.

Currently, the City’s Digital Inclusion program provides 800 households with 1 gig of Connexion internet at $20 per month, a reduced cost of the standard monthly rate of $70, but not at reduced internet speeds or service. Unlike many national programs, reduced-cost Connexion doesn’t require a contract, additional purchase, or annual reapplication.
