Update: Suspect Charged as an Adult, Shooting Outside Fort Collins Mall
On the afternoon of April 5, 2025, two males were shot outside the Foothills Mall, at the 200 block of East Foothills Parkway, in Fort Collins. Both Ivan Arreguin (37 yr.) and Luis Angel Arreguin (27 yr.) died of their injuries at the hospital. A juvenile male suspect was arrested early the following morning on April 6. Though he is under 18 years of age, the Eighth Judicial District Attorney’s Office has determined the suspect, Bryan Gallegos (DOB 10/23/2008), will be charged as an adult for the following:
· Class 1 Felony - Murder in the First Degree (2 counts)
· Class 2 Felony - Attempted Murder in the First Degree
· Class 1 Misdemeanor - Unlawfully Carrying a Concealed Weapon
· Class 2 Misdemeanor - Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile Prohibited

Charges are merely an accusation by law enforcement and all suspects must be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
