Asphalt paving work to cause full and directional closures on East Vine starting June 10

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The City of Fort Collins will begin an asphalt paving project on E. Vine Dr., from 9th St./Lindenmeier Rd. to I-25 beginning Monday, June 10, weather permitting.

Work is expected to last 10 days. Vine will experience both full and directional closures during the work period, which will include asphalt milling followed by asphalt paving to repave this section of Vine:

  • Vine fully closed in specific locations beginning Monday, June 10 for asphalt milling
    • Phase 1: Vine closed from Greenfields Dr. to Waterglen Dr.
    • Phase 2: Vine closed from N. Timberline Rd. to Greenfields Dr.
    • Phase 3: Vine closed from Merganser Dr. to N. Timberline Rd.
    • Phase 4: Vine closed from 9th St./Lindenmeier Rd. to Merganser Dr.
  • Vine directional closures beginning Monday, June 17 for asphalt paving
    • Phase 5: Westbound Vine closed from Waterglen Dr. to 9th/Lindenmeier Rd. Eastbound Vine will remain open to traffic.
    • Phase 6: Eastbound Vine closed from 9th St./Lindenmeier Rd. to Waterglen Dr. Westbound Vine will remain open to traffic.

Drivers should be aware of the closures and follow posted detours.

Bicyclists who rely on Vine to access the city from northeast Fort Collins should use N. Timberline Rd. and the Poudre Trail during the work period.

Sidewalks, where available, will remain open to pedestrians.

Access to residences and businesses will be maintained except when we are working directly in front of driveways and intersections, with some delay until access can be reestablished.

This asphalt paving effort is part of the City of Fort Collins Street Maintenance Program.

Work Zone Information

Typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., however work may occur outside these times if needed. Alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zone.
