FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The City of Fort Collins invites residents to attend a community forum on Monday, Nov. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Northside Aztlan Community Center.
City staff will present key insights gathered from Phase 2’s recent neighborhood visits, business meetings and interactive project website. The presentation will highlight the community's input so far and its impact on shaping the future of Fort Collins' commercial zones and development standards.
Phase 2 of the Land Use Code update focuses on three primary goals:
- Creating a more intuitive and user-friendly Land Use Code
- Enabling the development of resilient commercial centers that support local businesses and adapt to future community needs
- Promoting mixed-use development, particularly along transit corridors and within commercial centers
Following the presentation attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, allowing for further discussion and feedback.
To ensure accessibility for all community members, dinner and childcare services will be provided. Spanish interpretation will also be available.
Residents are encouraged to RSVP for this important event at fcgov.com/landusecodephase2.
The City of Fort Collins is committed to collaborative community planning and looks forward to continued engagement with residents in shaping the future of our vibrant city.
