Oak St. closed between Mason and Meldrum beginning July 8
W. Oak St. will be closed to vehicle and bicycle traffic between S. Mason St. and S. Meldrum St. beginning Monday, July 8 as a part of the City’s Oak Street Stormwater Improvements project. Drivers and bicycles should follow posted detours; sidewalks will remain open to pedestrian traffic during the work.
Lane closures near Mulberry and College July 8-19
The following lane closures will be in place from Monday, July 8 - Friday, July 19 while the City improves stormwater infrastructure near the intersection of Mulberry and College:
- Westbound Mulberry St. will be reduced from two lanes to one between S. College Ave. and S. Mason St.
- Southbound College Ave. will be reduced from two lanes to one between Mulberry St. and Myrtle St.
Eastbound Mulberry closed between Mason and College July 8-23
Eastbound Mulberry St. will be fully closed to vehicle traffic between S. Mason St. and S. College Ave. from Monday, July 8 - Tuesday, July 23 while the City improves stormwater infrastructure near the intersection of Mulberry and College.
Kechter closed July 8-18 between Strauss Cabin and I-25 Southwest Frontage Rd.
Kechter will be closed to vehicle and bicycle traffic between Strauss Cabin Rd. and I-25 Southwest Frontage Rd. between Monday, July 8 and Thursday, July 18 for repaving. Drivers and bicycles should follow posted detours; traffic needing to cross I-25 on Kechter will be routed to Harmony Rd.
Laurel to experience lane closures, shifts from July 8-28 between Mason and Shields
W. Laurel St. will experience lane closures and lane shifts between Monday, July 8 and Sunday, July 28 during repaving. Drivers and bicycles should follow posted detours; sidewalks will remain open to pedestrian traffic during the work.
Eastbound Horsetooth closed at Manhattan July 15-18
Eastbound Horsetooth is closed at Manhattan the week of July 15-18 due to utility work. Northbound traffic on Manhattan is unable to access Horsetooth during the work; westbound traffic on Horsetooth is unable to access Manhattan. The work is being completed by a third party utility permitted by the City; this is not a City construction project.
Kechter lane shifts and closures between Ziegler and Strauss Cabin July 22 - August 12
Kechter Rd. will experience periodic lane shifts or closures between Ziegler Rd. and Strauss Cabin Rd. between Monday, July 22 and Monday, August 12 for concrete repair work. Drivers should be aware of shifting traffic patterns; sidewalk detours will be in place where needed. All access to residences and businesses will be open during the work.
Prospect closed at Cedarwood July 17 - August 12
W. Prospect Rd. will be closed at Cedarwood Dr. from July 17-Aug. 12. The work is being completed by a third party utility permitted by the City; this is not a City construction project.
Westbound Mulberry closed between College and Mason July 24-26
Westbound Mulberry St. will be fully closed to vehicle traffic from Wednesday, July 24 - Friday, July 26 between S. College Ave. and S. Mason St. while the City repaves this section of roadway following improvements to stormwater infrastructure.
Willow closed at railroad crossing near College Ave. July 29 - August 5
Willow St. will be closed to all traffic (vehicle, bike, and pedestrian) at the railroad crossing just east of College Ave. Monday, July 29 - Monday, August 5 while the railroad operator, Great Western Railway of Colorado, replaces the crossing. The work is being completed by a third party, Great Western Railway of Colorado, permitted by the City; this is not a City construction project. Access to homes and businesses on either side of the crossing will remain open. Those needing to access businesses on Willow St. west of the railroad crossing will need to come from College Ave.; those needing to access homes and businesses on Willow St. east of the crossing will need to come from Linden St.

The Streets and Utilities departments will begin coordinated repair and improvement work in the vicinity of the 100 block of West Mulberry Street starting May 14, weather permitting.
