Drivers and bicycles should follow posted detours; sidewalks will remain open to pedestrian traffic during the work. Residents within the work area will still be able to access their residences.
Eastbound Horsetooth closed from Taft Hill to Seneca Oct. 9 - Nov. 22
The eastbound lanes of West Horsetooth Road will be fully closed to all traffic Oct. 9 - Nov. 22 from South Taft Hill Road to Seneca Street. while a third party utility completes work within the roadway. Eastbound traffic should avoid this section of Horsetooth (between Taft Hill and Shields) during the closure and use Harmony or Drake for eastbound travel, and follow detour signs. This is not a City construction project; this closure is the result of permitted work being completed by a third party utility.
