Notes
Tough tree on almost any site. Very attractive and long lived. Can be slower growing but this fact is often overemphasized as they often catch up with and outgrow many species traditionally thought as fast growing once established. Some are susceptible to bullet gall which is primary aesthetic but can be detrimental on tough sites. Try to select trees in the field that do not have signs of gall. Adaptable to various soils.
