Very tough tree adaptable to almost any site and can handle drought stress. Resistant to elm leaf beetle and Dutch elm disease. Needs to be pruned more regularly than other trees in youth to maintain good structure. Has been very reliable in Fort Collins. Fall color is a golden yellow.
