Notes
One of the few maple trees that can provide fall color in Fort Collins. Prefers good soils and wide growing spaces. Has the potential to get chlorotic in areas with high PH clay soils. Green Mountain has been a reliable cultivar but has not been tested for a long period of time. Should not be planted along major roads due to poor salt tolerance.
