Notes
Flora of Colorado recognizes two varieties of E. triglochidiatus, both native to Colorado. Variety melanacanthus is found in the western and southcentral counties and variety triglochidiatus is found in the western counties. They vary slightly in appearance, primarily in the shape of their spines.
