Notes
Flora of North America recognizes four varieties of J. americana, all native to the U.S. Varieties zionis and macrocalyx are only found in Utah. Variety rosea is only found in Nevada and California and our native, variety americana, is found in Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, and New Mexico.
Great for rock gardens.
