Our Zoning Inspectors will review your applications for minor changes to your property. See the list below for more information.

Find My Zoning#
Zoning districts dictate what you may build and how you may build it in different areas of the city. Click the button below to find what zone district you are located in! Once you identify your zone district, you can use the Table of Primary Uses to see what uses are allowed in your zone district. The Table of Primary Uses starts on the fourth page of Article 4 of the Land Use Code.
Zoning Applications#
| Permit | Description |
| Minor Amendment Application |
Minor Amendments are routed on Thursday of each week. Materials must be received by 4pm on Wednesday. Application fees must be received by 10am on Thursday morning. Each Thursday's routing will include Minor Amendment submittals received during the 7-day period beginning with the previous Thursday. Staff Comment Letters will be sent to applicants following the two-week review period. |
| Parkway Landscape Amendments | This is for applicants who would like to make minor changes to parkway landscaping. It ensures that any changes an applicant would like to make comply with our streetscape standards, relevant zoning regulations and Larimer County Urban Area Street Standards. |

Eligible Facility Requests Coming soon! |
This is for applicants who would like to make minor changes to an existing Wireless Communication Facility under the federal 6409(a) of the Spectrum Act of 2012. |
| Off-site Construction Staging Application | For construction or development sites that need to be served by off-site staging. |
| Short-Term Rental License - Denial Appeal Form | This is for applicants who would like to appeal a decision that has been made denying their application to hold a short-term rental license. |
| Sign Permit Application |
Application for signs: - Wall signs - Ground signs - Awning, projecting fin wall, canopy, secondary roof signs. |
| Home Occupation License | This is for applicants who would like to operate a business out of their home. |
| Zoning Variance Request Guidelines & Application | Application to request a variance from the requirements of the Land Use Code. These will be reviewed by the Land Use Review Commission (LURC). |
