Mason Trail
The Mason Corridor bicycle/pedestrian trail is a significant enhancement for the Fort Collins community. The trail runs parallel to the MAX Bus Rapid Transit system offering a convenient north/south route for cyclists and pedestrians. This trail provides a direct link to major destinations, activity centers along the Corridor and the Mason Trail links to the city's existing and expanding trail network. The 3.5-mile Mason Trail is presently open connecting the Spring Creek Trail to the Fossil Creek Trail. In 2008, the Mason Trail will extend north from the Spring Creek Trail to CSU.
The Mason Trail is funded by the City of Fort Collins, North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO).
