Safe Choice#
A night out in Fort Collins can be a fun, memorable experience while enjoying our city’s bar, brewery, and restaurant scenes.
But if you’ve imbibed a little too much, be sure to make a safe choice and find a ride home. Drinking and driving puts yourself, your passengers, and other road users at risk of injury or worse.
This page exists to help you find resources to get home, and what to do with your vehicle overnight.

What to do With Your Vehicle#
If you’ve parked on a city street or lot with timed parking:
- Simply leave your car and either enter your license plate and information in the form below OR call Parking Services by 10 a.m. the next day with your license plate number and where your car is parked, and we will give you time to pick up your car. Plan to pick-up your vehicle by noon to avoid receiving a citation; if you need additional time, simply contact us if additional time is requested.
- *Safe Choice does not allow parking where a parking permit is required during standard hours of operation.*
If you are parked in a parking structure:
- You can extend your stay with the ParkMobile app for only $1 per hour. If you initiated your session through the kiosk, download the ParkMobile app, start a new session, and extend your stay until you can pick up your vehicle.
Parking Services can be reached at 970-221-6617, ext. 0. You can leave a message after hours.
Parking in structures is always free on Sundays and City holidays.
Let’s all do our part in keeping our community safe!
