Worked in Madison WI for Weather Central Consulting Nov. 1976-June 1985 (WKOW, WXOW, WQOW, WAOW)
- On air for the Wisconsin TV Network July 1977 June 1985
- While at Weather Central was a part of a small group of people who developed the first TV weather computers
- Did sales and deliveries of weather computers all over the entire US and Canada while at Weather Central
- Forecasting for 40 radio stations and Department of Transportation in 2 states (Iowa, Wisconsin)
- Oversaw 20 forecasters on a daily basis
- Worked at KMOV-TV Channel 4 April 1985 1991 as Chief Meteorologist
- Won two (2) Regional Emmys while at KMOV-TV
- Developed his Weather Presentation Tornado Dance while at KMOV-TV
- Visited about 100 schools a year
- Hosted the VP Fair Parade for 3 consecutive years
