Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS)#
The Advanced Traffic Management System is the traffic signal control system used by Traffic Operations to monitor traffic and control the traffic signals in Fort Collins. Utilizing wireless communication and over 33 miles of fiber optic technology, the ATMS connects over 190 traffic signals, 48 closed-circuit television cameras and remote data sensors throughout the City, allowing traffic engineers to effectively manage and analyze real-time traffic conditions.
Tour the Traffic Operations Center!#
Traffic Operations is offering public tours of the Traffic Operations Center! Discover how we manage traffic flow and ensure safety in Fort Collins.
Tours for 2024 are scheduled on:
- Thursday, April 18
- Thursday, July 18
- Thursday, October 17
Each tour will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Tours will be held at our facility located at 626 Linden St, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
