Northbound closure on Howes Street at Oak Street, starting Jan. 6

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – A partial roadway closure on the northbound lane of Howes Street at the Oak Street intersection will begin the week of Jan. 6 to install new concrete paving. Southbound traffic at this intersection will continue to be open for the next two weeks, approximately. The northbound lane is anticipated to re-open Jan. 17 and at that time, the southbound lane will close for concrete paving of the west side of the intersection. Weather and temperatures may impact the closure dates and duration. Please visit the website at fcgov.com/oak for any updated or changing information on the concrete work in this area.

Fort Collins Utilities and its general contractor, WW Clyde, will be conducting work between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This work is part of the Oak St Stormwater Project that first began replacing stormwater infrastructure in July 2024.
