Triangle Drive Project#
Construction Begins March 20
- Triangle Drive is open to two lane traffic and it will remain open until the project is complete
- Project will take approximately six weeks, weather permitting
- Critical stormwater drainage infrastructure will be replaced prior to irrigation season
- After culvert is replaced and the surface is repaved, concrete restoration work will occur
- This work will not cause any road closures but there may be lane shifts
Project Overview & Outcome#
Utilities stormwater crews will replace 80 linear feet of a precast culvert box with reinforced concrete headwalls. This will include replacement of the concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and street pavement. The existing road crossing has failed requiring the placement of steel plates across the street to maintain critical access. This culvert is connected to North Louden Ditch and the project must be completed before irrigation season begins.
This project is expected to take approximately six weeks, (weather permitting).
What to Expect#
During the project, you can expect heavy machinery, equipment, construction-related traffic, as well as trenches and earth mounds near your property for several days. Crews typically work Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Upon completion, disturbed driveways and landscaping will be restored at no cost to you.
To avoid delays, please have all vehicles moved from the areas where ‘No Parking’ signs are placed. Residents in the construction area will have access to their property, though parking may be impacted. Sidewalk access will be impacted, “sidewalk closed cross here signs” will be placed with appropriate directional arrows to guide pedestrians. Please be mindful of all safety signage and do not enter active work zones.
